On Monday 2 October 2017, the KARL HUGO Company played host to 170 Belgian business leaders as part of the MADE IN EAST BELGIUM event, jointly organised by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Liege-Verviers-Namur and of Eupen-Malmedy-St.Vith.

This colourful evening provided an opportunity to showcase the the economic vitality of the East Belgium region. “It was an honour for KARL HUGO to represent the East of Belgium”, explains Bernd Hugo, the CEO & Finance Director of KARL HUGO. “It was important for us to present a true picture of our region's economy based on rigour, energy and creativity.“

The company played the seduction card and did not hesitate to try something different by offering a sneak preview of the brand new collection of the talented young fashion designer, Philippe Thomas, which is largely inspired by the industrial world of KARL HUGO. The evening was crowned with success and was universally acclaimed by the business world and the German-speaking community. “Thinking out of the box is in our DNA”, adds Bernd Hugo, “it's how we work, analyse and approach the projects entrusted to us.“
